Cash flow and risk Still has one Alexander Hamilton 2021 award category to present, but our judges have already reviewed the entries for our 2022 competition and have agreed on the award decisions. This category includes innovative solutions in the management of a variety of types of risks. Projects may address financial risks, such as risks related to national or international interest rates, exchange rates or commodity prices; the use of derivative instruments or capital markets to hedge the company’s financial risk exposures; and / or the management of counterparty credit risk. Alternatively, projects can address operational risks, including innovative solutions around the assessment, identification, mitigation and / or transfer of risks when protecting activities, assets, chain supply, data, employees and / or reputation of a company.

This award recognizes treasury, finance and enterprise risk management functions that have successfully supported business operations in parts of the world where other organizations may fear to venture. Winning projects can include pioneering solutions that overcome regional restrictions on money movement, compliance or disclosure issues, banking regulations, and / or cultural issues.
