Financial management training for business offered to Chico – Red Bluff Daily News

The Butte College Small Business Development Center will present a series of financial management workshops for existing businesses in a four-week series.

The workshops will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesdays, June 7, 14, 21 and 28 at the centre, 2480 boul. Our Lady, Chico. They are free, but you must register to attend.

This series is designed to teach you how to use your financial statements to better manage and understand your business operations, cash flow and profitability. The focus is on: interpreting and understanding your financial statements (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet), a practical exercise and a case study; identify the cash cycle and its impact on your business; learn to calculate and use financial ratios to troubleshoot tax hazards and analyze trends to improve business performance; use financial tools to make good business decisions for effective spending and break-even analysis; knowing how to be critical when looking at prices and costs; and developing forecasting and budgeting tools and techniques to improve profits.

The class is small for hands-on learning.
