JULY 5, 2022, FRANKFORT, KY – Investors Heritage Life Insurance Company today announced the launch of its brand new Fixed Index Annuity – Heritage Growth Advantage
– designed to help policyholders grow their assets during their retirement.
Unlike most other AIFs where rates can be reduced by the carrier, Investors Heritage’s HGA offers policyholders fully guaranteed participation rates on indexed accounts during the surrender charge period. It also ensures that policyholders will not lose their account value when market performance is negative.

Policyholders at the time of purchase can choose a fixed compound interest rate or participate in the upside potential through one of three index options:
• Morgan Stanley Dynamic US Equity Index
• SG Intelligent Agile 6% VT Index
• S&P MARC 5% Index (multi-asset risk control)
The US Morgan Stanly Dynamic Index provides policyholders with exposure to large cap US stocks through listed futures contracts. The index targets an annualized volatility of 15% by dynamically adjusting its allocation on an intraday basis. If the index futures holdings experience significant changes in intraday volatility, the index will rebalance its allocation to seek to bring the volatility of the holdings back to the target level of volatility.
The SG Intelligent Agile 6% VT index, offered by Societe Generale in partnership with Entelligent, a leader in environmental and economic analysis, is exclusively available through Investors Heritage annuity offers. The index uses Intelligent Climate’s Smart Climate model to score S&P 500 companies based on the potential impact of environmentally focused regulation and technology as well as expected energy costs. The index provides exposure to the 250 S&P 500 companies with the highest scores, helping policyholders align their support for environmental sustainability with their retirement planning.
