Need to get back in shape for the summer? A new private fitness studio
I’ve been trying to lose weight for a few months now, and I’m doing pretty well monitoring what I’m eating and adding cardio workouts and exercises. I know I need more intense training, but unfortunately I don’t have a lot of time to work harder between work and being a mom. This is where private fitness studios like NFQ Fitness in Monroe make the most sense.
I lost the most weight before my marriage by taking bootcamp style classes and NFQ Fitness offers that and more. They just opened and it may make you want to ditch that bog gym membership.
Not only do they specialize in conditioning classes that are personalized to you, but they also offer boxing and self defense classes. They’ll even train anyone about to enter the military or a first responder academy. They also work for all ages and all fitness levels.
I was able to speak with owners Russ & Maureen, you can tell they have a passion for fitness and wellness and want people to know what sets them apart from other gyms.
What sets NFQfitness apart is that we are a private fitness studio, not a big box gym. This allows for a more personal workout where the trainer can work closely with you, personalize your workouts, and modify as needed to maximize the results you are looking for. Training is usually one-on-one, unless you want duo, small group, or in-class training. Classes are for all levels and are generally full body workouts, unless otherwise noted. We also offer certified Spartan training that uses obstacles and will challenge you to get stronger. Spartan / Dekafit has a lot of followers in the tri-state area and only certain gyms can teach these classes to prepare you for a race or just give you a really good workout. Russ has over 17 years of experience, has a degree in Exercise Science and is also the Director of the National Institute for Personal Training (NPTI) which is a hands-on course to certify students to become personal trainers.
NFQ Fitness is organizing its big opening event next weekend (July 17) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. They are located at 242 Possum Hollow Road Building 2C in Monroe. Playa Bowls of South Brunswick will be there with yummy treats, New Jersey Mobile Hydration IV Vitamin Fusion IV and a bunch of other vendors. Plus food, drinks, workouts and more.
You can even participate in a DEKA STRONG event that looks like this. Wow!
