Section 010: 9:00-9:55 Ms. Andrea K. Ushijima, Cades Schutte LLP, will discuss real estate financing. 10:05-11:00 am In the context of starting a business, Dean Nicholas A. Mirkay and Professor Justin D. Levinson will discuss basic tax and business association concepts. The William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa and the Institute of Asia-Pacific Business Law (IAPBL) present Business Boot Camp II, led by the Law School of the Richardson School of Law and experienced practitioners. Business Boot Camp II will give you a deeper understanding of complex financial and business concepts and how some of these topics intersect with the law. If you are an attorney advising clients, a business owner looking to grow your business, or a nonprofit professional looking to advance your own business and that of your organization, Business Boot Camp II is for you. . Offered via Zoom, the first Business Boot Camp II session is offered free of charge; additional sessions are $50.00 each for lawyers seeking Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit (2 CLE credits per session) and $25.00 each for those who do not require CLE credit .
